Did that online quote cover the fact it was a japanese import?

Yes. If you go to any comparison site you have to do manual look up as it never finds the reg. Honda. 2 litre. Petrol. Auto. 1996. You get one option to select which is an estate. After that's done there is option to change to jap import.

It will ease the confusion if you were to update the original thread in 2017 rather than this one,

(What have you done with shorif2000?)

Yes will do. Can we keep this thread to this topic please. Would like to know if I can claim any money back for being overcharged.

    I changed my username

Bear in mind that old threads do get locked by MSE.

Maybe you will be thwarted if you wait till 2017 to update.

You could keep your thread alive and unlocked by posting interim updates (say at quarterly intervals)

    Good luck getting a refund.

It's down to you to find the cheapest quote.
