directline fobbed me over £700

Hello all

I bought car insurance in jan 2015 for over £1200.

my car
honda crv auto, jap import, auto, N reg

myself
78 years old
40 years license held
over 9 years NCB
no claim, incidents, convictions



i just done a qupte online and they quoted me £462?


is there anyway i can claim my money back from directline?

    You could cancel the current policy and start a new one but you would then have to pay cancelation fees etc.

    Did you disclose your disqualification, void policy and accident both times?

    When were the disqualification and the accident - are these no longer disclosed?

    I have no points or disqualification. The previous year they charged me 610. This year they charged over double

    The key post that details this says:
    I had car insurance with Bell, however it was voided due to not disclosing previous disqualification. I had a accident whilst i was with them 3 years ago. they have now sent me a bill of £17000, detailing 10 items labeled as CCS and a few CAS. what can i do regarding this. there is now way i can give them that kind of money.

    Did that online quote cover the fact it was a japanese import?
