BT Sport via Chromecast

I'm thinking of switching to BT in order to get BT Sport (that's the main thing i want really).

Just wondered if anyone has used the BT Sport app to cast live sport to their Chromecast. Wondering does it buffer? What's the picture quality like?

Before I got BT Youview I used to use my Chromecast and cast BT Sports via the app on my Nexus 4. It worked really well and I had no buffer issues at all.

Of course YMMV and it depends on the strength and quality of the Wi-Fi connection to the Chromecast, and the speed and quality of your internet connection.

Ok that's interesting thanks.

If i wanted to get bt sport through my aerial like normal tv rather than streaming over the internet I'd have to get it through Virgin but they're asking for crazy money!

Sending to Chromecast is i find trouble free and hardly ever buffers .Though i am in the habit of hitting the pause button for 30 seconds before start watching .
But Wifi is about 35 meg at the Chromecast .

BT Sport free with the nil monthly charge BT TV via YouView box is mostly how i watch now .
