The day of the Manchester bomb Corbyn made political capital.
The day of the London fire Corbyn made political capital.
Sure in both cases there are important arguements to be made but doing it on the same day smacks of making advantage of others misery. On the day a simple statement of stmpathy and thanks for to the emergency services and leave the politicing to the next day please.
Perhaps it's his age showing. Suspect he is rather inflexible and difficult to control from a PR perspective. With 24 hour media of all kinds now. Opening one's mouth is all to easy.0 -

It's because Corbyn is a million miles from the doddery school-teacher type most of his detractors think he is.
He is the hard left. Every bit as repulsive & militant as he was when he edited magazines that glorified the Brighton bombing & when he invited Gerry Adams to the Houses of Parliament 3 weeks after. People are being lulled into thinking he is in some way cuddly. They do not recognize what they are dealing with because they aren't used to seeing it.
He is every bit as repellent as the far right but because he's coming from the left it's simply not being acknowledged or treated that way. He does not have an ounce of compromise in his soul (as evidenced as recently as today when the cringing Labour moderates hoping for a job were turned away).
The UK needs to wake up sooner rather than later to just what a loathesome extremist has been elevated to the position of leader of the opposition. There are very good reasons this is a man hated by politicians on ALL SIDES (most especially his own) for the last 30 years. At some point the general public & the media will start to wake up to this rattlesnake in their midst. Or maybe they wont.0 -

Why offer positions to people that don't agree with your views. Corbyn is struggling to maintain a coherent front bench opposition as it is. Expect the media onslaught to continue. As the clock is ticking and Corbyn knows it.0 -

He preaches unity but to him Unity means accept his will.
This is an important thing to understand about the man.
It's been true about him since forever. As another example, he now claims he supported the Irish peace process but in fact he wanted a Unified Ireland.
Similarly he claimed he wanted Unity in his early days as Leader of the Labour Party, but what he meant was that every MP had to bend at the knee & kiss the ring. Nothing whatosever to do with Unity.
To Corbyn Unity means "do exactly what he wants". Anybody who doesn't understand this has not understood what they're dealing with.0 -

This is what Corbynomics actually looks like:
The Labour party needs to understand that its leader is a revolutionary Marxist, not a soft-Left social democrat

Love the link..........The good old Torygraph....the upper classes quivering in their beds while the trotskyists roam the streets:rotfl:0 -
Oh dear. Corbyn casually proposes breaching the ECHR (something he's supposedly a big fan of). The best his defenders can do in response is call the Telegraph, the Torygraph.

Does everything have to be class war with you? Who even uses expressions like "the upper classes" anymore? Presumably that means you think of yourself as lower class?
I hate to break it to you but the people you describe above not only don't hate you but they don't even think about you. Not even a little bit.0 -

Fella you know that's not true....watch the news.... There's been a tragedy of huge proportions, the Govmts response has been hugely inept. They have been viewed as being completely out of touch with how they've dealt with it. There are also serious questions being asked. Grenfell is symbolic of years of Govmt mistreatment of huge swathes of this country. K & C is the richest Borough in London but the divide between those living there and people who live nearby is huge!
Corbyn has been smeared disgracefully by you and others. The Tories always believed negative canpaigning can work, but now we see it can fail or backfire. The issue often is whether the negative attack seems credible. It was easier to attack Corbyn when people hadn’t seen much of him. Young people had been to the rallies so knew the attacks weren’t so credible. Older people in their mainstream liberal media bubble soaking up the negativity had to wait until the election to see what Corbyn was like. Things are changing and it's for the better.
There are always extremist bandwaggoners hoping to join any protest movement for their own illegal aims. They are rightly condemned by me as 'scum' but linking them to Corbyn and his values is another smear perpetrated by people who have their own agenda towards him anyway!0
