anyone know of a good vfm laptop around the £500 mark that would do for daughter to use at uni.

To put it simply any laptop you buy for £500 new these days will be capable of doing most normal tasks students require (word processing, spreadhsheets, internet, msn chat etc...).
The only exceptions are for students who will be doing deamnding things such as graphical processing or playing games, which will require more expensive laptops.They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!0 -
