Sorry if this is in the wrong place! I ordered Sky last week, the engr installed the TV part this morning. Unbeknown to me, he unplugged the ariel feed to the rest of the house. And broke the cable in the process. I have now been advised I can unplug the Sky cable and reattach the old (broken) cable, but won't be able to record and watch another channel at the same time. I rang Sky and the advisor tried to upsell me to a multi -room package. He also said he'd give me Sky go free for 2 months, strange.. I see from the print out of my order that it's free for the year. I just want freeview in the other rooms! Now I have received an email stating my first bill, Not including broadband will be nearly £81. I rang Sky billing was told no voucher code had been applied, there was nothing the advisor could do,and to ring and speak to the Retentions Team in the morning they may be able to do something to "get the price down". I asked which option I needed to get to that team, the advisor said she'd never rung in herself and didn't know. I'm at my wits end with it! Has anyone else had problems?

It looks like quite a few people are having similar problems with the price https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5304797
Have a look if you can cancel within the fourteen day cooling off period.
Make sure you put everything in writing to Sky http://help.sky.com/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint0 -

You don't need to unplug the Sky cable. Simply reattach the aerial cable to RF in and then another cable to RF out to take it round the rest of the house. How did it get round the rest of the house in the first place?
What do you mean by broke the cable?0 -
There are no Aerial or RF connections on the latest Sky Digibox. You have to buy a Triax IO-Link if you want to pipe Freeview round the house.0
