BT Broadband - am I missing something

Very important fact:
I have a BT phoneline & have already paid the line rental in advance for the next 11 months
I am considering changing my broadband supplier (I don't need fibre/superfast or a TV package too just basic unlimited broadband) & it seems that BT will offer me 12 months at £5/month, on a 12 month contract (Unlimited Broadband 17Gb + Weekend Calls) AND give me a £75 Sainsbury gift card if I order online ... so as I'm already committed to BT with my line rental paid in advance, I would be MAKING money on this?
£5x12 months = £60
Sainsbury gift card = £75
Net gain to me £15 ....
What am I missing??

Isn't that offer for new customers, and you're already a BT customer?
But not a broadband customer so should be fine.
I did something similar earlier this year, had prepaid 12 months line rental a few months earlier and got a 12 months @£7.50pm with £50 M&S +£25 Sainsbury vouchers.
Worked fine for me2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

You've already paid your line rental in advance- to BT (I'm assuming). Have you included this in your net costs or did you get your line renal for free?0

It's not actually relevant to this calculation as I've already paid the line rental ... The total for my linerental + broadband over the 12 months of course isn't +£15, but whatever broadband supplier I choose (or stay with my existing) I have already paid the line rental & will not be changing the phone line supplier this year!
If I change bb to BT I *think* I will be up by £15, any other provider I will be 12xmonthlycost down ....0
