Aah and half-term has arrived

I have a bumper to do list (as per usual) so I may as well start dumping it all in a list then I can free up some mind space again...- Ds haircut
- Clean car inside and out
- Take Mum carpet shopping
- Christmas Fair prep ....
- Watch the Apprentice on iPlayer
- Buy nieces birthday present
- Finish work email
- Decide on xmas plans
Hmm, I had a million and one things to go on that list and now can't think of any of them  I will keep adding to it as I remember bits

I have done my nieces birthday present and have also done the work email. Today I'm doing christmas fair stuff, (ds has gone to his Dads this morning), it does mean I miss watching Bournemouth on sky later, (I have recorded it to watch tonight). We have so much stuff to get done though it's scary

Very happy with a draw against Tottenham :j :j
Yesterday we got loads done for the fair, although our to-do list seems to get longer and longer
Today ds is coming back at about 3, I need to do some housework / washing etc today, maybe a food order too.
I also might pop to Homebase at some point, I saw yesterday they ad small xmas trees - don't shoot me, I know its only October, but they were in a pot for £10 and are the right size to go outside my front door (hard finding ones that aren't too big normally as I only have a little space).Mortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000

Hmm, I seem to have found my house cleaning mojo this morning - washing machine is on, kitchen is clean and sparkly, bathroom is sparkling too, bed made, clean washing put away, all stuff that was out has been put away, just need to dust my bedroom and the lounge then hoover through a bit later. I may tackle ds bedroom with him a bit later

Thanks Florence, I do have a week off now though so the more jobs I can get out the way at the start of the week then the more I can enjoy it later in the week

I ended up going out and mooching around a few shops - I did the food shopping (£56) and bought petrol (£41), I also spent £5 in poundland and finally popped into Ikea and spent £5.50 on a gingerbread house and a tin of gingerbread thins

Then I walked the dog, collected ds, came home and fell asleep on the sofa while the footie was on. Dinner is nearly ready (salmon) then it will be bath-time and a chilling evening I reckon
I have made ds move his computer into the lounge and the new house rule is that he is not to have any tech stuff in his bedroom, so his x-box (when he earns it back) and his phone (again when he earns it back) will remain in the lounge. I will have to fight my urge to tidy them away constantly

Morning all
So today I'm having a bit of a lazy day. I intend to do some housework, take Mum food shopping, mooch on the laptop lots, watch the Bake-Off final tonight and not much else
