Unfortunately we lost 4-0 today too (to Man City), I didn't expect to get anything from todays game so I don't feel too bad. Next week we have got Villa so hoping for 3 points there

So, Mr S has painted all my doors except ds bedroom as the footie was about to start, so I need to do that one today. He has also redone my hallway and kitchen so they look lovely again, and has done thee loft hatch too. I stayed at his last night due to the amount of wet paint everywhere, and the plan today is to get everything back to where it should be, or stored neatly in the garage or taken to the tip.
So far it's going well, I have taken three loads of stuff down to the garage / car for the tip. The washing machine is doing its thing, the windows are all open to try and clear the smell of the paint
I stopped at Morrisons this morning as Mr S needed some milk and I got lucky as the reductions were being done at that time. I got a bag of broccoli (£1 reduced to 25p) a bag of chopped carrots (£1 reduced to 25p), a bag of baby new potatoes in herby butter (£1 reduced to 25p), a tray of Mediterranean roasting veg (£2.75 reduced to 25p), some beef mince (reduced from £2.50 to £1.25) and a few other non reduced bits, the total came to £5.49 and I got 2 x £2 coins in my change which will go into my £2 savings jar

We went to a local town and had a bag of chips and sat by the Quay to eat them, it was lovely and sunny and we walked the dog. As we got back to the car it started to rain and has chucked it down ever since
Anyway, we're back indoors in the dry now, the dog is sleeping, ds is on his computer - I will start nagging about homework again in a bit but until then it's peace and quiet
