I'll definitely stay in the same area, there is about a 3 mile radius that I'd consider so am quite limited - we have the sea that takes up quite a chunk of the nearby area too :D I don't want to bee near the river (floods regularly), I want to be near bus routes for ds as he gets older, still near the beach, not fussy much am I? :o

Ds has gone train spotting again, I've been to B&Q to change the door handle and popped into Mums for a quick coffee. Home now and I plan to spend the day pottering, musing more moving thoughts, writing a very thorough list of things to do before the flat can go on the market and cooking a roast dinner :)

Survived my first day back, although I have a thumping headache, looking forward to my new glasses tomorrow hoping they'll help. I have sold a BIN item on ebay, so another £6 to chuck into the savings pot today :)

Ds is cooking dinner tonight as my head hurts and I want to just lay on the sofa for a while, we're having pasta and meatballs :)

A girl I've been working with at school has finally got an urgent and much needed appointment with the mental health services, so that has absolutely made it a great day today :)

Thanks Beanie, the second one is a student rather than a friend, but you don't go home and stop worrying about them :o Hoping she will finally get the help she needs now x

A fairly normal day at work today, went to the cash & carry after work to get tea / coffee etc for a pta event tomorrow after school. Home now, chicken is in the oven ready to have with wraps & salad later on.

Tonight will be a straight forward dinner, bath and early night kinda evening. No money in or out today, another day nearer payday :)

My next tax credits payment has gone in today, so I am moving £500 across to my savings :) I'm telling Mr S tonight about my moving plans, I don't think he'll be too happy as he saw that as part of the reason we would never work (I wouldn't sell the flat). I have explained to him before that it wasn't that and also that if I did sell it its my money rather than ours. Hey ho, we'll see how it goes.

At least its friday, another weekend is almost here :T

Evening all, I went for a curry last night with Mr S which was lovely, today I have been to see my poorly friend for lunch. The sat nav decided to play games half way there and randomly told me to turn around when possible when I was tootling along a dual carriageway (had been for mile so hadn't missed any instructions), it then took me on a silly circular route for about ten miles then told me I'd arrived at my destination when in fact I still had about an hour to go :( On the way home it was going fine then it started messing again and then as I approached a particularly confusing few miles full of roundabouts and junctions the sound on it decided to cut out. Eventually I got home but I reckon in total the sat nav added about an hour and a half to my driving today

I've just done my tesco order to be delivered tomorrow, I need to do the end of the month banking tomorrow too as well as all the washing and ironing, housework and take Mum to look at convservatories :)

Morning all, second load of washing about to go in, dishwasher is nearly done, kitchen is tidy, lounge is tidy, bathroom is tidy, all just need a clean and hoover through.

Collecting Mum at 11, here is my to do list for the flat before it can go on the market:
    • Replace carpets
      [*]Paint my bedroom
    • Paint all doors
    • Repaint surrounds of velux windows
    • Fix front door
    • Fix bottom oven
    • Scrub marks off heater in my bedroom
    • Swap ds bed for a single from Mums
    • Kitchen cupboard door needs fixing
    • Scrub stairs outside / repaint

Other than that it's just the general decluttering / deep cleaning etc. I'm aiming for putting it on the market at the end of the Easter holidays, so that gives me about a month / 6 weeks. The carpets / oven / front door / kitchen cupboard door will all need to be done in the holidays as I will need to arrange for people to do them, so the rest of the list (the red bits) are the bits I need to work on, hopefully get them done before then.
