Morning all :) Had a lovely long lunch with my friend yesterday, she has recently bought a new house, a detached 4 bedroom old house, lots of potential, lots of space and that general feeling of being a solid old family home :) Its made me think even more about moving. I need to seriously figure out some sums, I imagine what I'll do is spend another year or two planning and saving like crazy so that it's a bit more achievable. but at this stage there's just lots of thinking to be done.

Today I'm going to my best mates house for a couple of hours to work on some PTA stuff. Ds wants to go and watch some trains while I'm there and then I'll be helping him (nagging in other words) with homework later.

It's a lovely morning here today so hopefully I'll feel inspired to do some cleaning when I get back too. Mr S came round last night but couldn't do much of the doors as he forgot to bring various bits he needed, and was knackered, so just had some dinner and went home for an early night.

Nothing done off the list yesterday, I need to work on some of that again later :o

Had quite a productive day at my friends doing PTA stuff. Ds has gone to his friends house for a sleepover tonight so I have this evening to myself. I have had my dinner so am now going to blitz some of the cleaning and then head for an early night. I'm getting headaches in the evening this week, can't wait for my new glasses :D

I need to do food shopping, I may order online or may just go to tescos early in the morning.

Bathroom has been deep cleaned - all the tiles have been scrubbed, everything has been bleached, scrubbed, shined and it's all looking sparkly :D The only bit left to do is the floor, I'll scrub that tomorrow. At least that's one more job done off the list ;)

Aww thank you Florence, I do wonder sometimes if anyone reads it (other than a few of you regulars :) ) but I find it helps me to stay on track if I post here and at least I feel I am getting somethings achieved when I can cross them off a list :D

I'd agree with all of that.... I have issues ACTUALLY cracking on with my to do list but at least I get a nudge in the right direction. :D

Morning all, it's a beautiful day here today. It would have been Dads birthday today so we're all going for lunch and then up to his burial spot. There's a big lake there so we will go and feed the ducks while we're there.

I had a random conversation last night with my brother and let's just say the house move is suddenly looking a lot more likely to happen. Tonight I might sit down and start some number crunching.

I also desperately need to get my eating / gym routine back on track as I am finding all my clothes are too tight now (threw away my big clothes).

We had a nice lunch and went to the burial ground. Home now and I feel like having a nap although then I probably won't sleep tonight if I do. Ds is resisting the homework

I need to do a food order online and Mr S wants us to go round there tonight but I feel like a quiet night in.

Hope you had a pleasant day, this week was the 1st anniversary of my Grannie's death, a few weeks before that it was the first anniversary of my Uncles, so i have been reflective these last few weeks. Burial spots can be quite calming, and a place to remember.
