Morning BB, hope you had a lovely Christmas. I always enjoy reading your lists, makes me want to get on and de clutter my life :)

DD and I are just about to brave the winds and walk our dog, wish us luck.

I'm working tomorrow and Friday, two 12.5hr shifts, I'm thinking of the bank holiday pay :j

Hope you enjoy your PJ day. We'll have to meet up with our doggies in the forest one day x

That sounds a good idea Tigz, would be good to catch up :)

I have just spent half an hour helping ds clean his school books (random bits of lunch left in the bottom of his bag have gone everywhere :o ), and then sticking in loose sheets etc. Grr, boys don't take any pride in their work do they

Time for some ebaying now, not that I have found many treasures yet.

And the History homework is done, woohoo :D:D He does still have Spanish to learn for a test but that can wait for another day.

I have got 8 bits put on ebay, I'm struggling to find more stuff. I have things in the garage but its chucking it down outside and I'm still in my PJs so that will have to wait too.

I've cooked a load of cocktail sausages that were in the fridge from Christmas, we will have those with salady bits later for tea.

Tesco food shopping ordered, being delivered tomorrow afternoon, I was going to hold on until the weekend but I figured we'd need to go and get bread / milk tomorrow and then we'd end up getting bits for dinner, so this way it should mean its planned better. I spent £40.88 and used loads of points vouchers so hopefully a good start to the year :)

Morning all, feeling tired this morning as I couldn't get to sleep for ages last night. Today we're nipping to local town for a few bits and pieces, I'm also paying in the last of the bagged up pennies, will finally be nice to have them gone from the coffee table. Not much left on the list, I may hoover the car at Mums today when we collect the dog although there doesn't seem much point cleaning the outside of it with the weather like this

The washing machine still needs a clean, ds has decided his laptop is working fine and doesn't need dejunking anymore, so the list is almost done :)

Quick sweep around to make sure everywhere's tidy before New Year, Mr S and his son may come round this evening and play a few games, not sure yet. Other than that I have also set up a pocket money / savings scheme for ds - he wants to build his own aming computer as his laptop isn't really suitable for gaming. He reckons he will need about £430 to do this, his goal is by the summer holidays. He has already put away his Christmas money (£85) towards it and a tooth fell out last night so he ased me to move the £1 directly into his savings :money: A couple of the bits I put on ebay were his and one has a bid already (£4) so that money and any other ebay money his stuff makes will also be going into his savings pot :D

Woohoo, just done a riskfree offer on the betting and won £25  That will be moved into my 2016 fund as I didn't really have a 2015 one and I have sorted all the banking now so don't need to balance it anywhere else.

We did nip into town, I bought a book of stamps (£3.78) a pile of birthday cards (£4.62) and the car park cost £1. I also ot the dog some of his favourite chewsticks, they're made purely from cod skin. They absolutely reek but he loves them and they've done wonders for his coat :)

We collected the dog, he went nuts when he saw us :D and we posted ds thank-you cards. The washing machine is one again, the rubbish and recycling have gone out, I paid in the remaining pennies at the bank and cleared the rubbish out of the car. Time for a quick hoover and swish round to put the odd bits and bobs away. I'm also doing a good job of hoovering up all thee leftover snakly bits from Christmas :o

Tesco shopping has come, it was all there, the only thing they didn't have was 500g Flora Buttery, so they sent me 1kg instead (price-matched) :D Total cost = £40.88.

I have also emailed Fitbit as my fitbit isn't charging, I have tried resetting it etc but nothing, so will see what they say.

One of my friends has posted on Facebook their resolution is to unsubscribe from all the junk mail that clogs up their inbox on a daily basis. I have realised how much junk I receive each day so have decided to copy. I have already unsubscribed from about 15 that I've received today and am looking forward to only getting emails that are useful to me.

So, my plans for the New Year:

    Two of these can be called resolutions, the rest are general plans for the year ahead;

    Resolutions:

    1. To unsubscribe from all junk emails
    2. To not buy any more carrier bags

    General Plans:
    • 10,000 steps a day (once fitbit is fixed!)
    • Stick to calories recommended on MyFitnessPal
    • Drink 2 litres of water a day
    • Save £6,000 in challenge

I will also be setting myself monthly fitness goals, my one for January is to get my weight down to under 11 stone again - I was 12st 7lbs this time last year, lost 2 stone and settled between 10st 7 - 10st 10lbs but over the last couple of months have gone back up to somewhere around 11st 5 - 11st 7lbs. I will weigh myself in the morning and see what the starting figure is. So Januarys aim is to get under 11 stone again and to go to the gym 3 times a week (twice in the gym and once at kettlebell class).

    Come on 2016, let's get going :D:D

Mr S called me this morning to say his son wasn't well so he wasn't collecting him today, but that he would come round as planned this evening by himself. I sorted dinner etc. Anyway, he text me half an hour ago to say he's gone to his Mums and has had a few drinks and will be staying there now. Aaaaggghhh   This is the second time in the last week or so that he has done this, I have text him saying I've had enough, we might not be together anymore but I'm not being treated like that whether we're friends or more. I've asked him to let me know when he is collecting his stuff from the garage, I've had enough. New year new start and all that, his drinking was one of the factors that meant we couldn't work - he has a drink on a daily basis, tbh I think its more than that; I think he has a drinking problem, not helped by his Mum who does too  Hey ho, life's too short and all that and I'm not wasting my time on him if he's not respecting me ;)

I have decided 2016 is going to be the year of ME. I am fed up with putting others first and not getting anything in return. I feel that all they think I do is moan. Today for example I worked till 7 tonight stopped at the chippy on the way home, gave everybody their tea then sat down for mine. Nobody offered to make me a drink. Took Ds3 to party which he needs picking up at two in the morning(guess who will be doing that) came back cleaned up and finally relaxed. So have decided its healthy eating and back to the gym. Once a month I will treat myself. every other weekend I will do something I like , like walking, visiting stately homes or garden centres.

    Happy new year benben.xx
