Car dented by Tesco filling station

I'm just guessing here, but I don't think the OP is getting the "OMG, how awful for you - you should sue" response they were perhaps hoping for.
"No, actually it was my own fault" - so rarely heard now.....0 -
Sorry OP but I also agree with the general sentiment on here.
I do not see how Tesco could be held responsible in these circumstances.
Unfortunately it is some of the general public that are irresponsible, like the shoppers that leave their trolleys lying around rather than putting them back in the correct place, only for them to then roll into another car.0 -

Maybe Tesco should put big bumpers in the trolleys to stop this happening, clearly the fault of Tesco!

you must also insist that the chairman of Tesco is available to be called as a witness.
As previously been mentioned the previous customer should definitely be brought to book and asked why they left the nozzles in the wrong holes.0 -
Have you tried emailing the Queen asking for some compo ??
It happened in her country after all.
I know she didn't put the pumps back incorrectly herself but she deffo should have thought of a way to prevent it happening.0 -

Thanks for the link.
Perhaps if you could write a similarly humorous email then you too could get a £5 voucher.
Thanks Wealdroam had not seen that thread. OP deserved the £5 voucher for the hilarous emails that no doubt brightened up the customer service persons day(s).0
