Ok, so I signed up through Quidco for the £180 cashback and apparently there will be a £100 Sainsbury's voucher. As long as the CB comes in, I'll be happy as I simply don't believe that there will be a voucher for me to get £100 of free stuff from Sainsbury's!
Has anyone actually received the alleged voucher having signed up for a similar BT deal? What's the catch with it; have to spend double the amount of the voucher for it to apply? have to spend it all in one go? can only spend it on certain things? etc.
Also, there's no mention of it in the confirmation email. Contact BT when everything is set up to see if it is actually going to materialise?

Why do you not believe it? Other businesses use incentives to attract new customers, and this is the way BT has decided to do it.0

When things sound too good to be true, they generally are.
In that case, as the cashback is almost double the voucher amount, should it not be that you doubt?
The Sainsburys voucher is a pretty standard BT offer that they regularly offer to new customers. As long as you follow the claim procedure, there seems no reason to doubt it's authenticity.
Edit: The vouchers with BT are so regular, that uSwitch even dedicates a page to how to claim all the different ones they offer.

I had a voucher for a similar amount (think it was either £50 or £75) when I signed up to O2 a few years back in addition to £100 cashback, it was all paid up fine, in fact it was better than that because I didn't actually get the voucher, I was sent a cheque instead.
Apparently it's the cashback site which is liable for the voucher and cashback rather than the company you are signing up to and IMO it depends more on if you get a decent link where you've not got past cookies interfering with the click-through so make sure you keep dates, times and any details you have in case you have trouble with claims.
I think broadband sites tend to be a lot more reliable than general shopping sites despite their paying better cashback rates than general shopping; despite being very careful with every shop I've made though both TCB and Quidco, I've yet to have Holland and Barratt allow my cashback and when I did try to leave feedback, Quidco wouldn't allow it to be published!
So IME I'd take all the feedback on their sites with a pinch of salt and just try to be very careful with clearing the cachet, cookies and keeping any details when you do place your order.0 -

Fair enough, perhaps I'm a natural sceptic!
I think I forgot to clear the cache etc., but the order did track in Quidco within a few minutes so I should be ok? As far as I am aware, the problem arises when it doesn't track?0 -
Haha, it kind of is as well. That's the main reason I went for it as it'll basically cover all of the line rental up front, bar an extra £3/4. I took a risk as have had good experiences with Quidco in the past.0
