Well as you have said before. It was a route he has ridden many times. I would expect the riding style wouldnt change much week on week.
Exactly my point. Riding to expected conditions, rather than being observant. We all do it on familiar routes.Never heard of debris on the road,animals,cross winds etc.

Debris would most definitely come under failing to take account of road conditions.
Would it? Again you know it all it seems. Is debris simply something that sits there?
I have seen plenty of debris flying about accross roads etc.
Today there was half a bumper sitting in the middle of the A1 getting thrown about by traffic.
If that came down from the air,would the person not have been travelling to the expected conditions?0 -

Well, if there was THAT much wind for substantial debris to be flying around or to cause the OP to be blown off their path, do you not think that's something that would have been apparent enough to be taken into account...?
