Wrong address new build

Hi all


I just received my NTK, from UKPC for parking in the side road instead of a designated space on a new build development. The address is incorrect. Should I just email them through their website with a simple one-liner, ( I was not parked outside this building at the time stated) or should I send in a template letter including this.

no , what do you mean by the address is incorrect? is it the same as on your V5 ? , and as you say its wrong , how did it reach you?


do not ring/write or email anyone at this point


answer the address question please , and check your v5 (the vehicle involved)

Wait, if you see anything on a window ticket from a PPC (Private/parasitic parking company ) thats incorrect take it as a ploy to get you to pay up.
wait for them to contact you then complain and challenge it to boty the PPC and whoever it was that took them on - in the meantime read the sticky thread

I read it as the address where the alleged parking contravention occurred is wrong.

As above, please clarify the incorrect address issue. Do you mean your address on the NTK was wrong, or the location where the parking event allegedly happened was wrong?

This could be a scam by the PPC in the hope you will 'phone them and admit you were driving whilst correcting their deliberate mistake. Don't fall for it. Never 'phone a PPC.


Read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES and appeal using the template letter contained therin exactly as it is.

Ask for the photographic evidence. Challenge the NtK on the basis that you have no recollection of parking at xxxxxxxxxxx and would like photographic evidence and/or a POPLA code. Just that (for now)

Add that as an additional point to the appeal template. The event never happened. I was never at the location stated on your NTK. Prove I was or lose at PoPLA.

I'm just adding to the template but was wondering where it says breach of CCR, did I enter into a contract with the landowner by obtaining a permit from my landlord?
