Is it now good timing to invest? Or should I wait?

Very good but....psychology then comes in to play and assuming the investment(s) start rising you will be tempted to wait because, they were lower yesterday so you will hope to buy in lower, but they may not go lower, so eventually you buy some and then the price drops (unhappy), so you wait thinking you can buy in again at a lower price to help you feel better and the price goes up, no problem thinks you because it did this last time, so you wait but it goes up again, but you are convinced so you wait, and then low and behold the price is much higher than previously and you feel gutted because you weren't able to catch it at the bottom.Jackthedog wrote: »I would hold on until this 'correction' levels out
Anyway, long and short.... now is a good time to invest. If you feel there is more downside then invest (drip) slowly, monthly / weekly / daily, whatever you prefer.
It may seem odd but psychologically, I am much more comfortable drip-feeding money in to an investment as it goes down rather than doing the same as it rises.... go figure. I'll add that most of my purchases are single / multiple investments but (for example) I've recently started a monthly investment plan to invest in Blackrock World Mining IT, it may not be at the bottom but its getting close and it seems a good long (long long) term bet.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

It's a better time to invest than it was a couple of months ago. Next month might be better still... or it might not.0
