Thanks almillar. I will get it diagnosed up here and then consider my options. as the dealer use a 3rd party to do their garage work (including this aircon regas) then they will have a certain amount of outlay anyway.

if it turns out to be a major fault costing hundreds to fix I will of course driver down and let them sort it out. If it is a £10 fix, i wont bother them at all. If it is somehere in between, then maybe I could ask them to contribute.

Whatever way I go, I wanted to make sure they can't say 'it was fine when it left us' and wash their hands of it
