Just a 'frightener', we've seen a number of these, none have ended in court proceedings! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Shame, you could have dropped them in the sh*t if they had.
Well, if they don't know who the driver is, and there's no law allowing them to hold the registered keeper liable, then what the hell are they going to do??
Ignore them.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
Clarke - Congratulations, you've reached the end of the UKPC letter chain, all you have to do now is ignore this last template letter.
I'm in NI, I can assure you loads of people have received that letter, it is just another scare tactic, debt recovery company using a solictor's letter head, did you notice how it says not to contact Small Claims Solicitors at all, but to contact DRP?
I can assure you that it is more hot air, bluff and bluster, designed purely to frighten money out of you. UKPC, and every other private parking company have never attempted court in NI, unless somebody makes a claim against them. You will find more information about the whole UKPC letter chain here:

HI everybody
I had a ticket from UKPC in January since my parking permit had fallen off the dashboard but I was allowed to park in a company registered parking bay. Lots of notices inclusding Zenith and last week a letter from Small Claims Sollicitors which advices me NOT to call them but the UK debt recovery hotline for credit cards! I did call them and they could not help but simply wanted me to pay immediately wiht my credit card which I refuse. Should I ignore this letter and assume that they will NOT take me to court? Most replies above seem to indicate this but I simply looking for advice from people with more experience than myself.0 -
Why on earth would you call a debt recovery company when all the advice on here is to IGNORE them.
And start your own thread if you still don't know what to do after reading the newbies thread.0
