  • Is this bodywork repairs as it's an insurance job?

Most main dealers ship out their bodyshop work. It's best to go off personal recommendation in my experience. Just because it's a main dealer doesn't mean they're better than an independent.

Very true, only one place I would take my car too locally, the people there work to a standard not a price.

Rarely does a Main dealer do bodywork - Just go to an insurance approved bodyshop , their work is guaranteed too .

Looking for the most expensive option, vauxhall garage near me has a built in body shop which im guessing may be most expensove
  • Why are you looking for the most expensive option? Is it so you can get a written quote and try and extort the cash from the person that hit your car? Or you want to teach the other person's insurance a company a lesson?

You sound like and idiot to me and the reason why people's insurance policies are so high. I'm sorry I posted on this thread now.

i actually suffer from bad anxiety have done for the last 15 years, after having been ran into the back of me at 50mph when i was stationary...it kind of left a bad image in my head of that seat.because of that i cant sit back in it without an anxiety attack comingback on flashbcks etc so yes i do want it writing off but for no wrong reason
  • I get the feeling that you are not fit to drive , having those problems , get your car repaired and send your licence back , get a bus pass!

Your plan to win a write off by getting the most expensive quote won't work.

Before you get a write off the quote will be checked out and your car will be inspected.

Why are you getting a quote anyway?

If your car is so badly damaged then surely you are making a claim and whoever you claim off will sort out inspection/quotes etc.
