I ordered the silver Aiwa Wednesday evening as a present for my sister and was a bit worried when the email didnt come through but thought I might have typed the email adsress wrongly (as ive done before, really should check). Waited for it to turn up on Friday and it didnt come.

Phoned them today and they have no record of my order so I guess it didnt go through properly. Bit worried what happend with my card details but I dont think anything has come out of my bank.

Gutted because my sis really wanted this one.

Does anyone have one they could sell at a little over cost or is their anything similar at the same price.

    Thanks

Hey I am looking for a cheap MP3 player for the gym, Empire seem cheap but are they any good  Just worried to hear of possible delivery problems.

Also, being cheeky do they give a discount for first orders? how do I find the code? :D

Are the smaller memory MP3 players gettin cheaper anyway as everyone is going for the high memory ones so it is worth waiting to see if others do similar sales?

I've used empiredirect twice and was very impressed by the service. Even got a next day delivery to N. Ireland on a Teac mini system.

    Hi moaninmick

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14980&item=5774509854&rd=1

This is one of his items. It looks as though he only has the 128 mb in at the moment after a quick search. He is called tobamax and you can see more stuff in his ebay shop. I run 20 miles at a time and find it is absolutely fantastic....light and compact. I did get the 256mb one tho. I am sure there are similar sellers out there x

Tesco have a 256k mp3 player for £36. I have a similar one that i bought at christmas to use in the gym and it is a fantastic bit of kit. The only downside is that it has a relatively small memory capacity. Plays mp3 and wma though. Hope it helps
  • Dixons seem to be having a sale on mp3 players at the moment. I can't recommend any as I am clueless but i think i'll just buy the cheapest 1GB mp3 player.
Just go to dixons homepage and click mp3.

Got my Aiwa MP3 player yesterday afternoon from Empire direct. Was a bit apprehensive at first after reading about the customer service etc but can't fault them. Player was easily tracked and delivered yesterday (ordered on Thursday.) Good wee player and all round happy punter!!

Avoid the MPMan brand at all costs - they reckon on 75% returns.

https://www.play.com have some decent MP3 players - and have a low memory 128mb Creative for £25 delivered or their own brand at £18 - good enough for a couple of hours in the gym.

Read the thread but can someone recommend a current "good deal" on a quality MP3 player with at least 256MB memory?

    Cheers!
    Jertzy x :D
