Silverburn Glasgow - over 3 hours parking fine

As the title says the wife has received a notice saying she has to pay a £70 fine for staying over 3 hours in the Tesco Siverburn car park.
From reading a few threads on here I'm not sure whether or not she does.
Basically she is the registered keeper of the vehicle but I was the one driving that day, not her. It was me who parked the car.
Also, some threads seem to suggest the fine isn't enforceable anyway. Is that right or is the law different in Scotland?
Any help greatly appreciated

If it is not the council or police it is not a fine, it is a speculative invoice. In Scotland they can only pursue the driver, they will make all sorts of threats but it is all bluff, debt collectors can do nothing apart from write in red ink. Private PPC do nothing.0

THIS IS NOT A FINE!
The Newbies Sticky will set you right about PPCs in Scotland - In short, you ignore them and their fake debt collectors totally!0 -
Exactly. Ignore means what it says - IGNORE. Do not contact them in any way at all. If you do you run the risk of "outing" the driver ... unless they know who the driver is then they have no claim in Scotland.0

It is not a fine!
The law in Scotland and Norn Iron is different to that in England and Wales.
The only thread you need to read is the Sticky thread for NEWBIES which tells you to ignore these fake unenforceable speculative invoices in Scotland.
As above, do not contact the parking company in any way shape or form.
Give anything and everything to do with this scam a really stiff ignoring. Tell everyone you know who lives in Scotland what to do if they get one of these speculative invoices. Send them here if they are in any doubt.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Grimble you are forgetting that railway property carries a fixed penalty ticket. Don't ignore them.0

Exactly. Silverburn is a shopping centre just off the M77 heading in to Glasgow.0

If you do feel the urge to pay, come back here for all the support you need.0

Ignore
My vehicle got a PCN over three months ago (at a site quite near Silverburn) and I have heard nothing since0 -
What would your advice be if I got a ticket for parking outside a bay in a rural railway station car park in England?0
