    Barclays make everyday horrible...Although I have a case going through with them at the minute and so far it seems too good to be true (bar the lady on the MAX helpline who knows less about MAX than I do).

    Thanks for the reply everyone, much appreciated.

    Looks like I am better off with a local broker and deal face to face than some big firm operating like a factory.

    Now time to find a decent local broker, now that is another headache.
