Hello all, have been searching google for help re Parking Eye ticket I received in the post and have stumbled cross this helpful looking site. I've just joined to request advice so hope I'm doing it right!
I received a fine of £40.00 (more if not paid by 3.9.15) for being 15 mins over. I have receipts for shopping in Aldi which they manage the car park for as proof of using their store, but its' only for around £30.00 so doesn't really argue that I spent the 1.5 hrs allowed free parking just in their store as only a small bill. Therefore unsure if I should bother to appeal or just pay before it goes up to the higher amount. My arguments would be it was school holidays, very busy and had my children with me so went a bit over. Am I right to say they can only proportionally charge for time I went over? Any advice gratefully received.

    All as Ralph-y advises.
Read the Newbies sticky more than twice, to absorb acronyms and arguments.
Use the templates. Complain loudly. Resort to book of face, often used for aldi failures. That won't achieve much, but it does publicise this frequent scam.

First thing to remember: It's not a f--- if it's from a pp scumpany.

2nd - no '1st person' usage in comms. Don't give away who was driver. Don't be bullied into saying who was.

    3rd - no mitigation.

You argue a strong case on points of law.
Complain to the actual landholder and hound Aldi management, not underlings. Those who hire lowlife can fire lowlife.

Demand written proof of their cancellation request with courteous insistence:D, Tell them to signpost a white list procedure in their windows - but, PURSUE THIS ON YOUR OWN THREAD, exactly as Ralph-y says.
#7 and #8 will soon be replicated there :-)
