JCD Capulet - ouch, that sounds bad. Hope you didn't get blisters.

For me, I haven't done that much today:
    - checked my online email, definitely have a buyer for an SF mag I'm selling - this time,I'm charging a proper amount for the post and packing, so I won't take away half my profit.
    - tried to use Tesco clothing vouchers, as I'm desparate for trainers, but my local hyper Tesco doesn't sell clothing! How silly is that! Another batch of coupons has just arrived, I'm definitely going to put those on ebay. Tried one other shop, but too tired to go to any others.
    - *very* non dfw - I got myself into the situation where I chose to shop at M&S for veg - dear heaven, the *prices* these people pay!
    - also non-dfw, the fridge has stopped working - frozen food, chill, batch cooking, rats, its all in jeopardy right now. I can tell I'm going to be having a bit of a feast over the next 36 hours.

~ Walked to garden centre and back this afternoon (thereby saving a little bit of petrol - would normally just hop in the car without thinking...!:o)

*Spent the day (in the rain) building a shed that someone gave us on the allotment.*Came home for lunch instead of going to the butty shop*Persuaded OH that if we go there again tomorrow, it will be better than driving 30miles to the garden centre he likes and spending at least £6 on tea and buns and probably buying something else he doesn't need!!*Made a cracking curry for tea instead of sending out for one!!*polishes halo*

Hoping for a no spend weekend if possible!

I have done piggy comps & QuidCo searches - and will do tomorrow as well.

Saw family today and got picked up/dropped off so no petrol spends.

Had a HM curry (made by fiancé! :D) for dinner.

Bah! Can't think of anything else! :(

I'm going for a no spend weekend too. (I did post remaining ebay parcel though so £1.92 spent.)
Today I - took DS to free museum then local park, made homemade curry, listed some more stuff on ebay.
Tomorrow seeing friends and family so should be NSD then too.

Thinking of poor JCD on her walk, she's not too far away from me and it's been lashing down all day...

nearly forgot - I've entered a whole load of comps from the comps board so thanks to all who posted them.

  • On Friday:
*I bought *loads* of groceries but at 50% off (as the local supermarket was closing down) and had them delivered for free.
*Bought a couple of cacti, but at about 80% off as the florist was also closing down (and got 5 mini ones thrown in free).
*I won 10 euro piggypoints from pigsback for a couple of dodgy jokes. :)
*Had to spend 50 euro on the dr, as I got bitten by a new pet rat and my hand swelled up! Much better now though.
*Got more bids on ebay stuff. Posted 3 on Thursday, and 3 more to post on Monday.
*I intend to list more ebay stuff over the next few days.

I spent money on other things I shouldn't have, but mostly food and we will use it.

    That's about it.
