Have DRP contacted the DVLA?

From what I can see I seem to have a fairly unique case.

Unfortunately I have ignored all letters up to this point, which I understand is no longer the best way to deal with it.

Creditor: Local Parking Security Limited
Debt collector: DRP

I received a letter to say that I had to pay so much. To which then increased and again. Then the case was passed to DRP. Here I ignored the letter in confidence again.
Then they sent as letter to my old address, which is wear I realised my driving licence is still registered to but the car is at my current address. Which had caused my concern.
How did they get this information?
How do I reply?
Are they looking to take my car further?

just to put your mind at rest

1: its not the address on your driving licence (they do not know who was driving) , it'ts the address on your V5 (logbook)

2: Local Parking Security Limited are a member of a recognised trade association , so can get your details (from V5) from the DVLA
3: DRP are a simple (like that word in this context) debt recovery company , who will get about 15% of any money you might pay , after harassing you.
DRP also go under several other names , PCS , zenith , etc etc , so as one lot of paperwork peters out , a new lot will start

the only way they could take your car , is if Local Parking Security Limited , grew some brains and spent some money on a small claims form , took you to court and won , or you did not turn up. he/they would at most only win £200-£250 , BUT THEY WILL NOT!

very easily fightable , stop worrying!

DRP use various checks to find out peoples addresses, including old addresses

ignore DRP, they are powerless , dont even bother to respond !
