            Hi Slithy Tove,
Appreciate your reply very much and for putting my mind at ease. I think I will follow your advise and reply to Gladstones strongly and requesting all the correct information / details back from them on the claim is question.
 Thanks again

I think this one is one of the most comprehensive. A lot of effort was put in to establish (as far as was possible) the extent of application of Byelaws at the airport and demonstrating the sticky position they are in.p.s edit. I'll be sure to check out the other site and all their threads.0

The charge is not issued under contract law and is not an attempt to recover damages for breaching a contract. The charge is an alternative to prosecution in the Magistrates Court for breaching the byelaws. As a result of the charge being permitted under the byelaws Genuine Pre-estimate of loss is not a consideration which is relevant.
The land is subject to byelaws, to which we are contracted to enforce. The penalty was issued under these byelaws and not contract law, therefore the Protection of Freedom Act does not apply and the registered keeper is held liable.
max tome before a landowner can start court action for bylaws is 6 mths , 6 mths have past ,
they clearly state that this charge is an alternative to going to magistrates court
if you could be &ss£d replying , it would be , "I decline you offer of bribing you , please get the land owner to start court action "

Who does the Gladstones letter say to pay? Is it DRPL?
If it is Gladstones themselves, then it will be followed by a claim. Happy to volunteer my help if it is a claim.
Edit: It must be DRPL as they are using old letterheads with the wrong address. Oh well. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Hi it says all proposals must be sent to DRP and payments can be made online at debtrecoveryplus or by calling their hotline 0208 ........
I'll try to attach a grab of the letter body. Try this link imgur. com/xprckdt and remove space before com
From the comments above it now looks like it is DRP who have sent the letter out.
 Regards,
 Chippy_76
Edit: As the 6 month statute of limitations has passed (now 16 months since original letter), and all the debt recovery letters are just trying to collect the assumed debt for UKPP via now three debt collectors, the alleged parking violation isn't mentioned anymore so writing to Gladstones asking for more details of the claim might not be worthwhile as like previous poster mentions they are just acting as debt collectors?0

an award should be given to gladstones "recycler of the year" , having moved addresses they managed to sell all their old letterheads to DR+Save a Rachael
