Right JimLad you've inspired me, I'm going to list our spare room on Air BnB. We have two small children so not everyones cup of tea but the price will reflect that. We have a lovely spare room so hopefully will get some bookings.

ETA - Do you give your guests their own key when they stay with you?

We rent out our spare bedroom and bathroom to anyone that cares to book it. We get business guests and tourists visiting the area mainly. For £30 a night you get a room with bathroom and use of the kitchen. Its all handled by airbnb so no mess collecting money and they insure you for damages.

Yes we put it all into the overpayment pot.

Yes we give them a key if they are staying more than one night.

Have a look in your area and see what other people are charging for similar rooms. Might be loads!!

Merry Monday everyone! A productive weekend!

We went out for our celebration meal for MissW's pay rise. Really lovely belly pork for me! om nom nom.

Did a matched bet on sunday afternoon with netted me £27 profit. Tidy!

Finally listed a few things on ebay we have been meaning to do for month. Wedding dress, Artificial Wedding flowers, a few bits of Subbuteo, and my old remote control car. They all finish next sunday so fingers crossed for a bidding war! The car already has 4 watchers!.

Hi Everyone,

Well we didn't have a no spend weekend but we did have a productive one. We went through some of Jimlads old toys and put a few up on ebay, as well as some items from the wedding, if half of the items sell i'll be delighted. We also treated ourselves to dinner in our favourite restaurant which wasn't cheap but well worth it:)
