Just for information for DM, current Aston Martins have seven layers of paint that are hand finished. Most other run of the mill cars have three and are checked over to see if they are good enough to get a tick.
Repetition has nothing to do with accuracy, but why bother with facts if you can just lob in your opinion without skill, knowledge or experience.

So if you have seen production why can't you elaborately explain what the actual difference is in their paint method that makes it better? Better paint? More layers? Which is it?

Is there any point in explaining it to someone who won't listen and despite knowing !!!! all knows best?

Haven't you got a current crash and insurance claim to sort out DM?
  • There has been a update on the man who keyed the car.

    He was sentenced today:

He has been asked to wear a tagged until mid December, and ordered to pay just over £1000 in charges
Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!
  • Nice to see he actually got caught and prosecuted.

Wonder how the £750 is meant to compensate the owner for £9000 damage.

It won't, but if the guy claims to have a low income it's going to be a waste of everybody's time and resources to demand that he pays over a further £2 a week for the next 80 years or whatever, so he gets away with it.

Meanwhile the owner gets to pay the rest of the £9000 bill himself, or have his insurance company foot the bill and him repay part of it via increased premiums going forward.
  • This article maybe if an interesting read. Quite interesting to see the opposite side of view:

Jeez, I bet she can't even manage to get in a car with a chip that huge on her shoulder.

If you've ever had a distinctive looking or expensive car, you would become familiar with the service item, "jealousy stripes".
The scum already have too much handed to them on a plate, but their heads still cannot cope with someone else having something they can only dream of.
Jealousy stripes makes it sound like these are limited to just expensive cars. You only have to park on the side of the road in certain areas and you will return to find your car 'keyed' either by an angry neighbour or just some scrote walking past.

As for the police. They do nothing, but I guess they have the footage in this case.

I actually cringed and felt embarrassed for the author reading that.

Its amazing that supposedly educated people can let blind, reverse snobbery drive them to such clumsy, base stereotyping

It's called click-bait journalism... in other words, the paid-for version of trolling. Lots of columnists do it - spout any old outrageous rubbish to make more people come to the page and be exposed to the ads down the side. Experienced ones get to do it in national papers. Really good ones get to do it on TV.
I need to think of something new here...
