My nieces Aston Martin was keyed in a car park in Luton. You just can't park these type of cars in certain areas without the risk of vandalism. That guy will have bad karma for sure; don't think he won't pay for it one way or another.

No, Aston Martin use proper paint and will build many more layers than your average car re-sprayer.
Therefore it should be possible to polish the scratch out.

    Ever tried that?

Try keying the door of your car even very lightly and then see if you can polish it away.

On second thoughts - don't try it - take my word for it - it can't be done.

If you have a scratch that you can feel with a finger nail - it won't polish off and leave an undetectably repaired finish.

At least no one was hurt. Worse things happen at sea.

Flibber gabber. Aston Martin uses the same amount of paint/layers and most likely same suppliers of paint for Ford cars. Ever heard of the word MARKETING?

    What did you expect - a £4.99 rattle-can from Halfrauds? :p

It'll likely need at least 3 or 4 complete panels re-done and colour matched.

And it'll be in the paint-shop for at least a week.

Paint job is the same as for any other bog standard car. You're paying the Aston Martin tax ;)

try telling that to the owner whose NCD is now knackered because the courts wont get much out of the lowlife who keyed it

My point being that Aston Martin doesn't have extra layers of super expensive exotic paint. It's the same for any other car. They charge a bomb because they know customers are stupid enough to pay for it

You would have paid well over the odds for it too.

    Yes, that's a very distinctive track-suit top.

We'd best try Savile Row first...
