Neighbour Damaged Car - Small Claims Court?
Comments
-
Not much point taking him to court (at your expense) if he has no funds to pay for the job - you will lose all the court fees you have to pay upfront as the claimant if you win but cannot get him to pay up!Just been out to see him. He has apologised but said he won't/can't afford to pay for a professional job to be done and that things would turn sour if we pursue him in court......0 -
Small claims is relatively cheap. I would take that route if he continues to be so difficult.Je suis sabot...0

Time to take the car to a detailers.
Get their opinion on whether a professional mopping session will fix it.0 -
Don't ever use thinners!
Try some G3 compound on it and see if that will take off the spots. Of course you will be losing some of your lacquer too in the process but so long as you don't rub like crazy then not too much. Otherwise send him the bill for a proper job from a paint shop.0
