I have been accepted for the watersure scheme and instantly my monthly bill is half what it was.
I have just discovered that i was in fact eligible 4 years ago but i wasnt aware of the scheme.!! has anyone been able to claim back for lost years or is it just tough luck.??

No luck I'm afraid. You were (and still will be) using the water. Water sure just caps your bill and it's aimed at the vulnerable, low income / large families / those with a condition that means they are going to use a lot of water.
at least you're on the tariff now
