The Title should read Tesco Balance Transfer

I see Tesco are offering 0% fee on balance transfers for 19 months. I am an existing Tesco credit card holder and just rang to see if I could do this. The guy said he didn't know where I had seen this offer, I told him in Tesco website and here. He had no idea and said " looking at your account you have no offers"?? Maybe for new customers but he didn't know and clearly nippy heard about it:( I have a zero balance on my Tesco credit card.
I USED TO BE INDECISIVE BUT NOW I'M NOT SO SURE!

Rich people tell you that money doesn't bring you happiness just so the poor people don't feel jealous.

No harm asking but it'll be a new customer offer.

I had the same problem, once my initial promo period with Tesco came to an end, I thought they would be interested in keeping customers by luring them in with deals but apparently not. I only got offered one 0% balance transfer deal during my time with them at bog standard 3% fee so nothing special.

When I called up to cancel, the Tesco customer service rep told me he hears it everyday and his advice was to close the Tesco credit card and apply for a new one in 6 months’ time which is when Tesco consider you to be a “new” customer again and then take advantage of whatever new customer incentive they are offering because you won’t be offered the same thing as an existing customer. I did exactly that and am currently taking advantage of their 0% fee free balance transfer offer.

One thing to note... The 0% fees is on a specific card... So if you do get a CC for that feature, pick the right one!
