Does anyone know Nottingham?

  • I'm from Nottingham & if my only option to buy was in the places OP mentions then I'd rent elsewhere...

    Beeston, Chilwell, some parts of Long Eaton have great transport links but doubt you'd buy anything for 100k there.

    Personally I wouldn't live in Clifton either, but that's just me.

    While we are talking of Nottingham:

    Young single who wants to be able to commute into town easily? He's seen somewhere very near the tram in Forest Fields with reasonable priced rent in clean looking shared house.

    Try looking at Kimberley, Eastwood,lkeston areas. A little further afield but direct bus routes. May get a little more for the money

    Forest Fields is very rough. It's also the red light district. Public transport is very good in Nottingham, with very frequent buses as well as the tram system. I'd go a bit further out. Sherwood, Mapperley (see earlier warning on EA's pretending St. Anns is Mapperley) or Carlton maybe. Sherwood is probably better for young people, and once you're on Mansfield Road, there will be a bus every few minutes into the city.

    Have a play with this;
