The clubcard credit card does have quite a useful little app for smartphones.Grateful to finally be debt free!0

At Tesco self-checkouts if you insert your Tesco CC (or debit card) without scanning another clubcard first, it will ask you if you want to just use the CC as a clubcard and pay with a different card
This option has been available for nearly a year at Tesco filling stations when you pay at pump (you can also ask at the kiosk but sometimes they don't understand). So I think you can also do it at manned Tesco tills as long as they understand
Personally I would not merge a CC clubcard account with an existing clubcard account, so you can get bonus promotions more than once (of course some people open clubcard accounts for their dog and so on)0 -
According to this site on Tesco (http://www.tescobank.com/creditcards/rewards.html) , the 1 point per £4 spent outside of Tesco is just a promotion until end of November 2015. After that it reverts to 1 point per £8 spent outside of Tesco.
Extremely annoying as I got the card on the basis that the 1 point per £4 spent outside of Tesco was an ongoing thing.0 -

And it's been changed due to the EU's cap on the Interchange Fees. Sadly more and more credit cards are either going to drop their reward schemes altogether or introduce Annual Fees. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
That's a shame as I just got the card. I'm now thinking the next best cashback card is the Nationwide Select one that gives a flat 0.5% cashback. I'm not keen on the Asda card that also gives 0.5% or any of the Amex ones. What do people think?0
