Strange that you would want BAE to move its shipbuilding capability to England in the event of Scottish independence. One of the more laughable occurrences during the indyref was the SNP's pipe dream that the UK Government would still be happy to use Faslane to build its ships in the event of independence. The cheek of it!“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
If Only us Cowardly English had the guts to elect a government that put the best interests of all the people ahead of greedy pig trough guzzling tax dodging corporations and their crap zero hours contracts and crap wages.
Is that what we are Jealous of here, the bravery of the scots in showing the pigs the way out of our lives.
How so very immature.
Good luck to them, back on your heads us English, back on our heads.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

Yes, then I moved the discussion forward to talk about shipbuilding for the RN currently performed at Faslane. So just to be clear, you'd want the UK Government to still use the shipyard on the Clyde to build its ships for the RN, even in the event of Scottish independence?“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

Nothing brave about spending an over generous block grant from the UK treasury and then propagating the myth that Scots are seemingly different from the rUK in that they're uniquely 'progressive' in their political beliefs.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

Ah yes the mighty Scots fleet would keep Jock and his apprentice busy for about a fortnight I reckon. 😀
Not just defence spending of course, can't see the Student Loans Company or Skytv hanging around in a foreign country for too long post independence.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
"Some of my best friends are [STRIKE]black[/STRIKE] English"
Look if it pleases you to think that people like me absolutely hate English people, go ahead. I have no way or proving otherwise and I can't be bothered either. You are wrong. Simple as that.
I personally think it's a lazy and convenient way for you to explain something you cannot explain, nor hope to understand ( the rise and popularity of the SNP over the last few years ). So you resort putting people in little boxes labeled 'extremist' or 'English hater'. If you ask me it's a pretty small and closed minded view of anything in a debate worth having. But I guess it's up to you if it suits you better to keep on with it.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0
