Sony Z3 Compact
I would like to sell my iphone and purchase a new Sim Free Sony Z3 Compact.
The best price for a green one I can find is on ebay at £270
The seller says this phone is sim free from new and has not been unlocked by them.
I am just worried that they say the factory seal is always removed by them for quality control?
Is this normal for business sellers to remove the original seal?
Or is there another place selling them around £270 or cheaper?

Personally i'd spend the extra £30 to order it at:

Edit for clarity: No affiliation to handtec, they're simply a known reputable shop who currently have the phone the cheapest I can easily find outside of the ebay/grey import shop route.
Edit again: Sorry, didn't see you were after a green one. That's £40 more:

To more directly answer your question, ebay sellers are a mixed bag. Sometimes they'll be perfectly fine, sometimes you're getting grey imports, sometimes the phones are just plain dodgy.0 -
I've had this phone for 10 months (the green one).
Personally, I don't think it's worth anything like £270.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

Sony Z3 Compact has screen size 4.6" for around £270 but you can get a Sony Xperia E4 with 5" screen for around £85 yes its slower , I guess you need the 2.5ghz quadcore because its faster but if not the E4 has 1.3ghz quadcore.
this link shows a Sony E4

I've had one for 2 months, got it new (EU not UK though) from an Italian seller on amazon for 275. Best phone for my needs and had no problems at all thus far.
Main plus is that I'm a light user and phone battery will last almost 3 days!0 -
Thanks everyone, I currently have an iphone 5. Paid £599 for that one. I hate itunes, I have many mp3 files on my computer and find itunes not very friendly. Also the iphone will not stream music via dlna to my Panasonic theatre but my friends android phones work fine.
I like the size of the iphone and thought the z3 looks okay for my needs.
I will be looking at an E4 first for comparison though0 -
The Z3C is expected to be replaced by an updated version next month.0

Have you had a look at the Xperia M4 Aqua. Its a similar phone but not available in green.0

edit.
i wouldnt say its similar either. its a thinner larger phone than a z3 compact and has a different version of android in it, it doesnt run quite as well. the m4 aqua is a mid range phone and the z3's are top of the range of sony phones. well until the z4's come along anyway.0 -
