Okay so no Nationwide 100.00 in my account this morning which I was expecting.
I emailed them through my online banking to ask what is going on because that is Christmas shopping money for me.
Said they would get back to me in 2 working days so should know by Monday at the latest whether I will get that or not.
Really should as I met all the criteria!

Me too monz.
I called & they just kinda fobbed me off.
Sent them an email through their secure site & they got back to me to say I have already been paid the 100.00 but this was for a referral that I made for a friend to join.
The one I am querying is my friend referred me & I switched my main current account over, emailed them back so will see what they say.
If it doesn't come through I will be annoyed but what can you do eh.

I read your diary last night Dolly and what a well organised person you are. I love the fact you setting a savings target for your holidays and also paying down the debt. Once it is gone just think of how much you will be able to put towards your new home.
I also like your five year plan and I have always done that too. I save a certain amount in a holiday fund each month and then we decide in January either on a cheaper holiday and lots of short breaks or one big holiday. Alongside that though we always overpaid on mortgage so now that is gone we are looking at early retirement as our next big plan.
OH goes next week at 58 but says I have to carry on working part time to pay for holidays!!!
