Better move it's wee tooshy I am soooooo poor :(

Just want to know what we have coming in so that I can sort out the amounts I am paying to the CC's.

Know for a fact that the Very will be PIF this month & that literally makes me so happy :T

Still no idea what is going on with my funds right now, it's too close to payday to even think about if I am being honest :rotfl:

Once the wages come in I can write it all down then see what the plans are for the month.

Just realised also that when DH starts his new job he will do a weeks lying time so no wages for the first week.

October is going to be a shocker of a month for us financially.

Will get through it but will be a bit of a struggle.

    Notes
Okay so I am gonna fess up here, not all spent on this card this month was a necessity :p

Did need lightbulbs, air fresheners, damp preventor thingamybob.

Didn't need a filofax refill, GOT books or tickets to the cycling.

Quite annoyed with myself because in looking at it written down here I realise that that is over 100+ that could have been deducted from the total balance of this CC this month but hey ho, we will live & learn won't we :rotfl:

There will not be a repeat of this next month, so siree.

A few months ago I would have just spent that on rubbish that I didn't need just because I would have saw that as 'Free Money'

I'm working my way through your diary, but this post in particular resonated with me. This was exactly me as well. Because I was keeping up with my payments ok every month, and even paying a bit over the minimum, in my head there was no problem at all.. :o Extra money was "available" to be spent on treats.

Now, I can't wait for OH's pay day this week so I can work out how much I can make as my first extra debt payment.

  • Aw wee brain twins, we are both changing!

Go us, this is something to be proud of.

Seems crazy to some people who will be like well this is normal, not for us though for a long time.

It is going to be our new normal!

Well, you're a good bit further down the progress road than I am. I'm a total newbie who's hoping to change. But they do say that the first step is admitting you have a problem! ;)

  • Yup totally.

I have been doing this a wee while now but I am just getting to grips now with the whole honesty part of it.

I have been kinda kidding myself on over the last wee while, paying off debts but just keeping adding to them - pointless!

    We will get there.
