Asda's overly loud tannoy

I'm after a email address to complain to Asda.
I'm at the end of my patience with the Asda store which backs onto my house. Even with double glazing we can hear the tannoy announcements in our bathroom and spare room throughout the day. The most concerning are the 30 minutes of continual announcements at 1130 to 12 every night and even colleague calls during the night. In a few weeks time we will be moving our 5 month old daughter into the spare room and I'm worried that she'll be woken through the night.

Tannoy is a trademark.
You mean P.A. system.0 -

Hi
Have you thought about ontact your local Council Environmental Health office and logging a noise complaint, that way the store will have to take notice.
Or you could write to the store, address your letter to the managerFind out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0 -
Have you spoken to the local manager ?
A gentle word to make him aware of the problem may work wondersNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -

Does seem the most sensible suggestion as a first step. I had a similar problem with the local supermarket playing music at night, when I spoke to the night manager he hadn't been aware of how loud it was and it was promptly turned down - far less fuss than involving environmental health.0 -
I got this reply to my email today.
Dear Carol
My Name is Suzanne and i work in the Asda Service Team. Thank you very much for e-mailing and making us aware of noise complaints you are experiencing.
I am sorry that you have experienced this issue and understand how upsetting this would be.
I have spoken with the store manager who has made me aware that they have had no other complaints regarding the tannoy and the volume hasn't been adjusted.
Taking this into account my advised to yourself would be to speak with the Environmental health for them to investigated the matter. We are more than happy to work with them regarding this.
I understand this may not be the response you expected, but i have passed feedback on and can only suggest further action.
If you need any further help please let me know.
Kind Regards
Suzanne

My reply was.
Dear Suzanne, thank you for your reply, hopefully I got your name right. I say hopefully because you failed to get mine right! You failed to pass my complaint onto the relevant person and fobbed me off with a poorly written and dismissive response.
However, following my complaint the volume of the tannoy has decreased over the past two days. Although this is contradictory to the reply stating that the tannoy has not been adjusted. I realise that you are going to do nothing about my complaint so I'll wait for the inevitable increase in volume and then raise a complaint with the Environmental Health Department of my local council.0 -
Unfortunately your flippant and passive-aggressive reply will most likely go straight in the trash folder. I never understand why us as consumers feel the need to do that.
There's a few points regarding your answer that I'd be interested to know the answers to though if you don't mind.
1.) Maybe the volume hadn't been adjusted previously as she had stated, but, after receiving your complaint, the store manager had used his/her discretion and decided to reduce the volume to pacify you?
2.) Who would you consider 'the relevant person' is to deal with your complaint?
3.) She had already said your next step should be environmental health, so why wait? Get them out now, and then if the volume does increase again, they can visibly see and hear that it has increased.
4.) You say she has been dismissive and is doing nothing about your complaint. What did you ask them to do in your original email to solve the problem? Was it a reasonable request?0
