  • Awww.

Had "Prevent" training today. It felt like government brainwashing.
I definitely don't support anyone in killing or maiming others but I felt like shouting
"One man's terrorist is another's freedom fighter!".

Think I have watched too much Blakes 7.

Thats very on the ball of you, to pay survey money off - good for you. I've been watching the exchange rate on transferwise, wondering whether to transfer some money now, but there's enough over there for a good long while.

  • Is this for your French place?
  • You are on fire SHS. Well done!
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
  • It is not unheard of for me to be on fire...my hair at least.
We have just completed the old school paper budget a la newgirly.

    It is not pretty.

    Hello SHS :hello:
I've now read through your diary - or I should say this diary, 'cos clearly there is a previous incarnation of which I don't know … but loving this one and looking forward to following along.
Congrats on the new job - not long now:T:T

It is, yes - November's payment goes out today, but even after that there's almost E3,000 in there, its not useful to transfer anything right now, and another rental payment will be along in January - only E1200 or something, but every little helps. I might not *have* to put anything in until the next UK tax year :j

  • Hello Hollyboll. *waves*
I was Alchemilla before but changed to match my blog.

KC are you keeping the French place?

    Oh I'm SO excited :j:j
She of the things for which to be grateful … I read a bit but obviously not enough to put them together.
(also a bit sad/ scared that anyone gets the flak here you mentioned at the start of this shiny new diary)

I'd love you to PM me the blog if you could?

More urgently though, drink a lot, rest, and feel better soon!
    xx
