I've been to a couple of adult riding camps - one in Hants, the other in Durham. They were good, but a bit complacent - at one, we had to cross over an A road between the stables and the training ground - we did it one at a time, but when I was being escorted over, the instructor was attacked by the companion donkey and fell over on the side of the road, screaming for help. I had to abandon my horse and run to her aid. It was rush hour ... thankfully, all the traffic stopped, no people died, no horses or donkeys either. Bit tricky!

Pumpkin soup to be made, pumpkins to be carved and spooky decs to go up. DH is on Plops checking duties. The poor dear has worked like she has never worked.
