  • That sounds delicieux KC.

Been to a lovely drinks party swarming with adorable dogs. My kind of party!

Might've had cheese and a profiterole!
  • That sounds like my kind of party! Dogs, cheese and profiteroles, amazing :)

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and you are not woken too early.
  • Thanks Elephant. You too.

Today is tidy up and get ready day. No going anywhere in the car. This afternoon we are hoping for a film with hot chocolate and a new routine for the new house which is church on Christmas eve.

    Sounds lovely.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Happy Christmas Eve SHS. I'm hoping for lots of film watching today, already watched one so hoping to have them on a loop!

  • We watched Miracle on whatever street which was appropriately schmaltzy.

Back on the diet today - I must remember I am not a dustbin.
  • I am not a dustbin either. I might be a bread bin though.

    Merry Christmas SHS.

  • How have I gained six pounds in two days?!

Going to help DD poo pick in a minute to try to work some of it off.

Confession time. Overspending and food waste have got out of control here. Time for a fiscal fast and a new regime.

It's probably the type of food you ate... Although quantity might have something to do with it...

Am off to stay with big sis for a few days. They are veggie so I eat much more rice, lentil, starchy stuff than normal, which always has an impact...

Does 'poo picking' have a category on mfp or fitbit for calories burned?

Ooops - although the 6lb won't all be 'proper' weight gain, I guess? - more of a Christmas-food-baby gain? Sadly (in some ways) my presents included a voucher for afternoon tea, lots of 'posh' chocs, a Hotel Choc deluxe dipping experience (some bits are 'interesting' (not opened it yet - just from the box)), salted caramel hot chocolate, shortbread and a 'taster menu' dining 'experience'..... I fear I am staying round for a while longer! :D
