no wonder you're referencing it.
Oh, and the TROUSERS! Brilliant :rotfl: I'm very close to my sister, as you probably know from my diary, and those inspections ... yuck. In a single word.smallholdingsister wrote: »But not as sad as me singing along to Bat while DD plays piano!!One time that I got it from a real left wing "I'm 45 and I still go on demos in Trafalgar Square" type person, I called it out as being an interesting prejudice. which was good.

I hope I am not the person you're referring to as teacher bashing? Wondering if I came across that way when I was finding things particularly difficult and realising both teaching and the school I was placed in really wasn't for me. Whilst I struggled to get on with teachers in the staff room and found working with children on a full time basis really didn't work for me, I can appreciate and respect the vast majority of teachers want to do the best they can.2018 totals:

I've no idea what any of this means  I'm obviously blithely sailing by something that's very upsetting ... not nice for those involved.
I think Apple meant you had joined in with a three letter acronym (i.e. SHS) !!
Alex you have not made sweeping generalisations about us that I'm aware of BUT you have been desperately snobbish about specific staff at your teaching practice school, and (since you asked) it is horribly ill mannered to dismiss people because of what they call lunch.
I am sorry I don't seem to be communicating well, or we're all tired and stressed.0 -
So this morning we are all going to Big Town while DH does his last morning of term.
Much food shopping to do and there might be wine this evening.0 -
There should be wine shs , we only have a few more days of living the dream eating mince pies, chilli crisps and boozing - then it's time to join mfp properly again and get ourselves "beach body ready" as they sayMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

Ahh, shs, sorry to hear there's been generalised teacher bashing around
There are good and bad teachers, of course (same for any profession) (There is one teacher at my children's primary who I really wonder why she went into teaching - she really doesn't appear to like children at all (and is a Y2 teacher, so deals with relative smalls) - and apparently hasn't ever been keen (my sister knows her from teenage years)) BUT the impact of a good teacher stays with someone for ever. I will happily tell teachers when I think they are doing a fab job. DS1's school has just lost the Head of Eng (from teaching entirely, sadly) and I went to tell him what an asset I thought he'd been to the school (even though DS1 is a science bod) and that I was sad to see him go.
Anyway, moving on, I'll find you when I put mfp back on my phone - had to take it off to clear space for the stupid latest update. Must warn you that there will be no activity until Jan, though - I don't need to record my consumption between now and then to know how bad it will be!

I really want there to be wine this evening for me too, and there's even a nice little bottle of red I could open ... the awful thing is, by the time I get to opening it, all I usually want is a cup of teahere's hoping I make it ...

That is just wise, KC.
Apple thanks for the clarification x
Thanks GreenT. You are so right, good and bad in every profession.
NG I think I am starting now. I was fat shamed this morning in Big Town.
At least I can see no other reason why someone would pull faces at me and to her friend when she thought I wasn't looking. Maybe she didn't like my hoodie with the Haynes Manual to the Liberator on the back?
Sainsbugs was MENTAL. NOT looking forward to Big shop in Piddly. Which is what Lidlly autocorrects to!0
