Good luck with all your new year goals.

Gally: those slippers are vile. :rotfl:
    2018 totals:
    Savings £11,200
    Mortgage Overpayments £5,500
  • Alex if it is dark who cares?!
I am not organised enough for slippers.

My research is leading me to Doc Martens without the yellow stitching for work. I tend to wear floor length skirts like the mad Victorian schoolmistress that I am so they won't notice.

DD1 had a go riding sidesaddle this morning. She also rode a naughty horse that bucked (not sidesaddle and just laughed at it.

Fabulous. I have tried this a little in the past. I loved it - thought it was so elegant - sadly Mr Watty said my continued complaining about how much my knee hurt afterwards was less than elegant. I keep thinking about doing some more, but will wait till we are more financially independent ;)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • It is supposed to be hard to fall off. Reminds me of Flambards.

Happy new year to all of you chez SHS
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
  • Thanks Squirrel and to you and yours.

Happy New Year to all MFWs.

Not too hungover this morning. I have made soup, roasted some veg and tidied the kitchen.

    The tree is down.
  • Great minds, I've just taken our tree down too! Happy new year x
