7 a week so 28 a month.
Neither is to be sneezed at.
Planning to drop DD1 at the stables today for d of e volunteering and take the two youngest plus a pile of donations to the awesome recycle shop in Crediton.
We will probably come home with another vacuum cleaner. DS will buy it with his Christmas money.
This afternoon DH has a car load for a tip run and I am supposed to RICE my leg though frankly I am bored now.
Anyone got any suggestions for shoes with good arch support?0 -
No suggestions for shoes, but very excited that horse riding features in your 2017 goals0

Difficult one on the job. Choosing to put yourself in a position where you're working with/for someone difficult is not really a good idea - but if she's looking for work elsewhere what if she gets a job at your school . Seven hours a week is a massive amount to someone as time stretched as you. I seem to remember you liked the school last time - and you obviously rate it as your children go/are going. If you are the type that can grit their teeth and think of the spare time when the going gets tough then I'd say go for it. £100 a month would not be enough to swing it for me.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Have a friend with plantar fasciitis who was advised by the podiatrist to buy sketchers. They were expensive - but - have made a huge improvement and she found that they asked her lots of questions and gave great advice.
The money can be justified as it is part of your 2017 goal to get on a horse, to do that you want to lose weight which means movement which means you need to sort problems......
if there is a horse involved I can justify just about anything !Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
I wear Sketchers a lot with pf - they hace outlet shopa here in Glos and one in Swindon. But specially made orthotics are good to put in other shoes. I also have some very boring Clarks shoes with high instep support in which help. Decent trainers - speak to someone in a shop about your needs and they can direct you to appropriate ones - and then buy them cheaper elsewhere online :-)
Stay away from super flat shoes like ballet pumps. Wear shoes in he house (or firm slippers with orthotics )

you can often pick up sketchers at sports direct. Less choice in the way of styles, but up to half of the RRP. They are my first choice of shoes for school. Comfy, practical and seem to last me much longer than shoes from elsewhereknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

Thanks for the input on the insole thingummys Gally.
I don't think it is plantar fasciitis - that's heel pain I think?
I think it is posterior tibial tendonitis or summat?
Has anyone tried heel compression supports?
Thanks guys for the tips on sketchers.
So DH and the two smallest went through the toy cupboards and he is going to the recycle with a carload of stuff. Amazing. He says he is sad about the babyish stuff. I have zero sympathy since I was up for baby #4 but he wasn't.
Crediton recycle was closed - shoulda checked - so DH procured a new vacuum in Tossco.
DD2 acquired a calendar and some pens which she is currently engaged in a tantrum about.

I hate the looking back over last year. It seems so mawkish.
However, I had a great first year in my current job and everyone is well, so giving thanks for that.
Also we remorgaged to a good 5 year fixed and kept the original higher overpayments so we are automatically overpaying by 50 quid or so each month without noticing.
2017 Aims
1. Lose enough weight to ride by end July 2017.
2. No alcohol until that happens (brave or foolhardy?!).
3. Buy no non essentials until we are financially fit.
4. Sell the house.
5. Sell the stables/field.0 -
