    Could you possibly rent your house out? Not ideal but could be worth it if you get the house you want. :)

    We could rent another but I don't think I'm that desperate to move.

    I was thinking rent yours out and buy another. Cannot see why you'd rent yours out and rent another, so think you're definitely right to rule out that. :)
