  • Thanks all. We had a jolly evening after wrangling three exhausted kids into bed.

One of DH's friends was really odd at the wedding. He up and left before the evening because he had been to a Michelin starred restaurant and apparently had to go back on the night of his friend's wedding. Odd Mc Odd.

Today will be spendy again but I am aiming for 5 NSDs in a row starting Monday.
  • DH despatched (!) to collect food for tomorrow's lunch party.
    DW and WM on et.c
Family have brought me their gifts of washing!
Pizza dough made and DD2 and I will make flapjacks soon.
  • Morning.
Lunch party today. Currently collecting 30 bales of fantastic hay.
More spending, though mostly under the "preparing for winter" category.

I like the sound of your August challenge. I always intend to be more mindful but don't quite achieve it.

Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
  • Thanks both.
