One of my younger colleagues calculated that the pension changes cost him 400k over his career compared to a colleague who was on the old scheme for a whole career. How did you get switched to the new scheme? Am guessing you took a break?

Hi Squirrel. I got switched to the new scheme by not being old enough when the swindle occurred.

Haha, bargainous love! We are still on the market SHS, we should take it off but I am paranoid about issues with planning and missing an opportunity to sell. We are getting outline quotes so following that can move to the planning stage. It definitely feels more real now. Tbh though, the house we are hoping to create we probably couldn't really afford to buy. Maybe I should watch some more episodes of 'don't move, improve'Nov 2025 - part 1 - £13,878 part 2 - £20,953 Total - £34,832 24 months to go!0
