  • Gosh thanks.
I must be developing some gravitas. Or something.
Two year 9s buttonholed me today to tell me why they were wearing trainers.
They thought I was the head.
Clearly I am not dressing down enough.

  • Oh gosh thanks.
Money spent today on DD1's birthday presents. A teenager soon!
I thought I would have made it to a stone this morning, but no.
One of my uncles died yesterday. I am weirdly sad because I met him once when I was three or something. He lived by where I work.

No commiserations due. I guess I just feel for my Dad.
  • Yes, although you didn't know him, it must be hard for the elderly when they lose siblings, it is the falling off the perch thing. Commiserations to your dad.

I used to be mistaken for the head a lot and I did dress the part. This year I have swapped my jackets for cardigans though, which seems to have made me invisible!
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
  • Cardigan of Invisibility anyone?
